Elena Williams
Specialist Learning Disability Nurse
Hello, my name is Elena and I am a dedicated Specialist Learning Disability Nurse. My passion lies in supporting children and young people with learning disabilities, Neurodiversity and mental health difficulties ensuring they receive the highest standard of care while advocating for their unique needs.
I am dedicated to advancing the care provided to these young people, promoting positive outcomes, and supporting their mental well-being in the complex landscape of paediatric health. Whether through direct care, collaborative work with multi-disciplinary teams, or advocacy for improvements in services, I strive to make a meaningful difference every day.
I am delighted to have been given the incredible opportunity to be a part of the Person-centred Cultures: A FoNS Development Programme. This prestigious programme focuses on creating more person-centred approaches within nursing, empowering staff to foster a culture of empathy, collaboration, and respect. I am honored to contribute to the foundational work of this initiative, which I believe will help shape the future of nursing by enhancing our ability to deliver care that is truly tailored to the needs of every individual. am really excited at widening my network, especially in terms of support, learning from others and getting to know individuals who work in a completely different area of nursing to me.
