Gemma Willingham-Storr
Forensic Case Manager (RNLD) Humber NHS Teaching Foundation Trust
I qualified as an RNLD in 2012 and I have had some incredible learning opportunities throughout my career. I am currently working with adults who have a diagnosis of Autism and/or learning disability and who are at risk of or are in contact with the criminal justice services. I support people under the Transforming Care Framework who are leaving secure care to live in the community. I am also a DBT Therapist in a team that has fully adapted the DBT programme to make it fully accessible to adults with a learning disability. I have a particular passion for all things relating to Safeguarding and I am part of the Safeguarding Adults National Network. I would love the opportunity to share my learning and experiences and support the development of our LD Nursing colleagues.
