Rowena Watkins

I currently work as the clinical team lead (and non-medical prescriber) within the community CAMHS Intellectual Disability team which covers Nottinghamshire county and Nottingham city. I lead an MDT who work with young people and families of children aged up to 18 with diagnosis of moderate to severe intellectual disability.

I am looking forward to developing my leadership knowledge and skills regarding learning disability practice, and also to access networking opportunities with other RNLDs in leadership positions. I hope with the knowledge gained, I can inspire my current workforce of RNLDs within their current roles, to in turn positively impact on our service provision to children and young people with a learning disability and their families.
