I work as a staff nurse at an inpatient unit, Townend Court, for people with a learning disability. There are 2 wards, Willow and Lilac, for assessment and treatment under the Mental Health Act.

I have predominately been working on Lilac unit, which currently has 4 patients. My role is to manage the day to day running of the unit, staff and patients, whilst on shift, supported by my colleagues. I give medication, support with caseload management and MDT meetings.
