Shelby Pilgrem

I currently work at St Andrews Healthcare on a mixed admissions low secure ward in CAMHS. As part of my role as a senior staff nurse, I create care plans and PBS plans with the young people. I have specific young people who I am care care co-ordinator for. I offer supervision to staff on the ward and organise team meetings where we discuss ward issues and how we can improve as a service. We have a mixture of skills and professionals in the team and we can learn a lot from one another.

This programme will support me in my professional development by gaining leadership skills to help me to advance my role. I feel as though I can learn how other services support their service users and bring this to CAMHS within St Andrews.
