Currently I am a senior staff nurse on a low secure male 18-25-year-old ward specialising in Autism. We have the ability to support up to 10 individuals, as well as an extra care suite for those whose needs are not met with the overall support of the main ward. We also provide enhanced support in many ratios for many different needs.

The team I currently work with is comprised of staff from different backgrounds including CAMHS and adult mental health. The mixture of experiences allows us to have a unique outlook on how we support our patients.

I feel the fellowship will be a fantastic opportunity to develop my skills and further increase my confidence. I am hoping to increase my situational awareness and to be better able to facilitate and help create a workplace which is conducive to high-quality, person-centred care.
