Gill Cross

My team is part of a large group practice in primary care, which resulted from the merger of 4 practices into 1, approximately 5 years ago. Since then, we have had lots of changes, more recently in aiming to work as ‘one practice’ with the same processes and principles across all sites.

I am looking forward to the Inspire Improvement Fellowship as I hope to improve the communication between the teams and to align our culture and philosophy of caring across all sites.  I hope to develop the experienced team we have to work towards improving the sense of value and recognition of the individual roles that we have.  I would like to empower the nursing team and improve morale, which will in turn, impact on the care provision of the practice as a whole.
