My hope is that this programme will ultimately help me grow and develop as a facilitator, offering me the opportunity to share my experiences and develop new strategies. My vision is for my Trust and our ward to be somewhere that people want to work, will feel valued and enjoy their role.

We are a large 41 bedded cardiac unit with a ward philosophy that ‘We strive to provide a safe and friendly environment in your time of worry and stress. Our aim is to respect and be respected, to deliver you excellent care in a compassionate & dignified manner. We are committed to improvement through learning from your experience on our ward.”

I believe in always striving for nursing excellence, whilst feeling secure and content within your working environment. I hope to help empower the staff to lead the change they want to see. If staff feel happy, valued and supported our patient feedback will reflect this.
