Call for Applications

We are delighted to announce that the Richard Tompkins Nurse Development Scholarship 2025 is now open for applications.

This scholarship offers a unique combination of the FoNS Residential Programme (28 April – 2 May 2025) and individual, ongoing mentorship for the scholar to explore their own priorities. We can support the scholar to publish, if that’s where their interests lie, work on projects within the workplace, and/or connect with regional and national leaders and present at conferences.

Truly a ‘once in a lifetime’ opportunity!

The details:

Open to a registered nurse, midwife or health visitor who is:

• committed to developing person-centred cultures of care
• working clinically in any health or social care setting UK-wide
• at senior charge nurse level or equivalent

The closing date is 5pm on Friday 14 February 2025 so please do share and encourage applications!
