Tim joined the NHS as a member of the National Graduate Training Scheme in 2001 before taking up his first role at Great Ormond Street Hospital.  A move followed to Royal Brompton & Harefield NHS Foundation Trust in 2006 were Tim held various senior finance roles including Deputy Director of Finance and Programme Director – Productivity & Transformation.  In 2019 Tim joined Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust as Director of Finance Performance (Royal Free Hospital) and Deputy Group CFO.

Tim is a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.

Tim joined FONS as a Trustee (Treasurer) in March 2014
