Sean Costello, TD, MA

Trustee

Sean has 30 years’ professional experience, developed as a former ‘Big 4’ business development director and independent marketing and communications consultant. He established Synapse Global Ltd, in 2014 and has a proven track record of working with a range of financial and professional services clients and SMEs. Sean holds the rank of Colonel in the Army Reserve and is a former Trustee of the Queen’s Own Yeomanry Association. He joined the Yeomanry Benevolent Fund, as an ex-officio member, in November 2020. He is a member of the Bedfordshire committee of the Army Benevolent Fund and the Eastern Region of the Veterans’ Advisory and Pensions Committee. Sean is a Fellow of the Institute of Leadership and Management and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing. He became a Freeman of the Worshipful Company of World Traders in 2014. Having rowed for England while at school, he is a Member of the Stewards’ Enclosure at Henley Royal Regatta. Sean holds a Master’s Degree from University College, London and a PGCE from Durham University. He currently works at the Cabinet Office in the Covid-19 Task Force. Sean was awarded the Territorial Decoration in 2004 and the Volunteer Reserve Service Medal in 2016 for continuous service.
