Susan feels the scholarship will greatly benefit patient care. Recent work ‘has taught us a great deal about our traditional culture of “doing for” people (as well as enabled many patients to express and achieve their own goals – right up to the end of life).  We now want to look at challenge our caring culture further by implementing a more rehabilitative model into our palliative care practice.’
