Kirsty Henry

Hello, my name is Kirsty and I am the Programme Lead for Learning Disability Nursing at the University of East Anglia.

I am a registered nurse for people with learning disabilities (RNLD) with a clinical career focussed on community healthcare for people with a learning disability where I was lead nurse in a LD community team. My clinical and academic interest is in reducing health inequalities, effective communication strategies, and in supporting students and colleagues to develop confidence in their practice and their individual strengths.

I am extremely keen to support new leaders in the field of learning disability as I truly believe that we are dynamic change agents, and I know what an amazing difference we make to people that access services. I am really looking forward to meeting you.
