Ellie Dunn

I am the team lead of the Learning Disability Health Facilitation team. I lead qualified nurses, nursing associates and learning disability health champions. The main aim of our service is to provide equitable health care to people with learning disabilities. Within the team we have health facilitators and acute liaison nurses.

I’m hoping that the Inspire Improvement Fellowship will help me with new skills and confidence to work with my team to improve team working and ultimately enable positive outcomes for our patients. I also hope that improved team working and effectiveness of the service will lead to happy staff, which will help us retain more nurses on the team to enable us to provide a quality service for the people we care for.
