Community Learning Disability Nurse, Norfolk Community Health and Care NHS Trust
I am a Band 6 community nurse in countywide intensive support team for adults with learning disabilities for an NHS Community Trust. My role already encompasses the leadership direction of nursing assistants in the team, student nurses and staff who support the service users I am lead nurse for.
I believe this programme will give me a greater insight into nursing leadership and how it can enhance support and encourage patient and staff wellbeing. I hope to expand on pre-existing skills as well as skills that are new to me as the programme progresses.
