Angela King

I am working as a registered nurse within the East Riding community team. The role sits within a MDT and we work closely in a collaborative approach supporting individuals within the community. The support is based around health needs, such as support accessing generic services within the community for health and co-ordinating care for the individual if other professionals are required to be involved.

I feel that the fellowship and supporting programme will benefit myself, my team and the individuals who use the service by helping me to build my confidence and raise my awareness of situations and to help me build confidence and to develop my leadership skills. In addition, I’m hoping to further develop my practice methods and approaches, which will help me develop my role further.
